I'm baaaaaack...

Did ya' miss me? Well I sure have missed you folks. I've been busy coming to terms with my recently layoff, doing the Mr. mom thing, and taking classes at PCC...oh yeah, the wife and I have been down with the swine flu this week too. My new life doesn't require me to sit in front of a computer screen for 10 hours a day, so needless to say I'm not working hard gathering information to post here at CCF&F like I used to. That may very well change in the future, but for now I'd expect less frequent updates at the blog if I were you. That being said, if you have something to share or an event that needs some publicity, I'm happy to oblige. I'm also considering taking on contributors to post articles and event information on CCF&F. If any of you are so inclined, shoot me an e-mail and we can figure out the best way to make that happen.

Thanks to everyone who has contacted me with concerns of my well-being and whereabouts.

  1. Welcome back! I was also worried. Less computer time is good for the soul. But a little won't hurt! : D

  2. Thank you for your concern, R. It's a bit disconcerting being in career flux like I am at the moment, but I sure am enjoying the time spent with my daughter and working on some projects around the house.

  4. Glad to see you is right! I was getting a bit worried and asked several people if they had heard from you. Didn't want to phone and seem intrusive when we knew that you had 'stuff' going on. Bill is doing a year round market on Tuesdays over at the Lloyd Center and would love to bring your sauce if your still interested?

  5. I understand about "career flux". We are a single income family, living quite frugally, and just found out that his entire company is dispensing a 10% pay cut. Suddenly, all those things we thought we didn't have time for are now becoming necessary. Butcher classes, possibly a CSA (might need a partnership with other farm) are just a few of the ideas springing back up. ~ Ronda (360) 833-1917
